BACK FROM VACATION

 

The day after returning from vacation, I took Bailey to the Beach. I knew she longed for her regular routine and the company of her dog friends at Dog Beach. It was very hard being away from her and Safari, our cat. Her cat.

As this was the first trip since adopting Bailey in June, 2008, I was nervous, even though my friend was staying at the house with the two of them. Bailey is a Border Collie, always seeking attention and wanting love. She loves being with people and beign told how wonderful she is.

My friend said she did fine.. When I am away on vacation, I cannot help but think of what I may be missing. A look. A certain kiss. A special lick. A soft meow. A loud bark of a hello. I love it all and it reminds me of how much I love Bailey and what a special addition she has been to my life.
